Royal Christmas by Royal Copenhagen
Royal Christmas puts the crown on Christmas.
This year Royal Copenhagen continues its success with the decorations which this time are based on the king’s crown, referring both to the historic Rosenborg Castle and to Royal Copenhagen’s logo and the tradition-steeped history of the company. The king’s crown has become a beautiful mobile floating royally in space as fine as can be in gold-plated brass with cream coloured ribbons.
There are also three decorations with a crown, a bell and a bird, respectively, which are all crowned by a fine little ball in fluted white bone china. The decorations look beautiful both on the tree and in the window. The series also includes a new candle holder in gold-plated brass which will gleam beautifully on the tree. The little white porcelain dish with its half-lace pattern to collect the wax under the candle clearly refers to the porcelain factory. The candle holder supplements last year’s model which was decorated with a gold-plated bell.
